Snitch Fiers cowers in fear again. I think some of the best revenge is his ERA in the stratosphere. Surprised he's 4-1 with a 5 ERA.
That lineup in RC+ (or OPS if you prefer rank) 7, 8, 5, 1, 2, 4, 6, 3, 9 Not exactly by the book, but then it is really weird with Springer and Altuve scoring that low 31 games in. The Book (statistically) is something like this for most teams (Though getting the best 6 hitters in the top 6 is like 95% optimal regardless of everything else): 3, 2 (or 1), 5, 1 (or 2), 4, 6, 7, 8, 9
Probably not. They have the A's feed and they said they must have known as well. Their starter didn't throw in the bullpen as well.
Can’t imagine it will. It didn’t count as one for any other teams, they just replaced it with a doubleheader (net loss of 4 scheduled innings). As the Astros were off both Wednesday and Thursday I was kind of thinking that a protest was possible today since they didn’t have the opportunity to do so when the other teams did. The Cardinals, Royals, Indians, and Angels, by my count, did not protest any games at all.l this week.
Melvin said Astros approached A's about postponing tonight "and we were totally supportive of it. We did the same thing the night before." Bob Melvin said A's, Astros will play a doubleheader tomorrow with the first game at 1:10 p.m. PT (3:10 p.m. CT)
