I think of it like this: if a house in a neighborhood was on fire by saying all lives matter is like putting water on all the house. Yes it’s a given all lives matter but the black house is the one on fire right now so put the water where it is needed. I do not have the exact views of ALL activities from the BLM movement BUT as a whole BLM.

I suggest that you do some research on the founders and the leadership of this movement.

I know you are one of most ordinary people who look at the BLM slogan and embrace it. I am not against it. So I understand what you say and am not against you. But make no mistake. The BLM movement is a political ideology with some pushers that is not ONLY for racial equality.

I see a lot of confusion of the What and the How. The What is seldom disputed. Politics is mostly about How. I haven't gone into the D&D for a long, long time. I don't post much on politics here. The few posts I do mostly show how cynical I am about politics and politicians. They love using grand slogans because it shames anyone who is not on their side. Politics on both sides is fraught with this kind of tactics.

If you don't support antifa, does that mean you're pro facism? If you don't support PETA, does that mean you are in favor of abusing animals? These names are chosen intentionally so that people can make the argument that you're making if you don't stand with them.

    Well said.

What is projection on a possible return date.
    1. Voted 1 week (correct answer)
    2. Reason - Financial and Legal (highly correct answer)
    3. Those who want to guilt trip GARM being GARM can't think with logic and only emotion.
    4. Those who want to turn this into the D&D already have, congrats , I hope you are jumping like you are on TikTok dancing to Selina Gomez.

it ain’t politics til it’s made to be politics; it’s just reasonable, basic human rights. And the message is resonating and repeating thru global sports.

Michele Roberts, the executive director of the players’ union, asked to have the floor to speak about the financial ramifications of leaving Orlando.

While she was going over the numbers, Clippers guard Patrick Beverley abruptly interrupted her, saying he disagreed with her logic, sources said. Roberts kindly reiterated that these were potential losses the players would suffer, and Beverley interrupted again.

Roberts asked politely if she could continue with her point, and Beverley responded, “No, I pay your salary,” sources said.

This caused an uproar with Paul, Haslem and others, who intervened and told Beverley that disrespect would not be tolerated, sources said.

Quick? Perhaps. Effective? No doubt. I applaud the players!

    And, Pat? Uh, no.
