Will we make the playoffs? Probably not. But just in case we luck into it, i will feel very very sorry for especially the jazz and newlook blazers if they do not make it. This is two teams that are playing their hearts out, portland is beating the best team in the league, jazz have less talent than the clippers but they are still in the playoff hunt. We are a team that is heartless, spineless, and brainless, i will REFUSE to root for losers to luck into winning. This bunch of losers that call themselves a team do not deserve the playoffs, and it would be a travesty if they rob a real team with professionals like the jazz or blazers.
Obviously, if you get into the playoffs in the West you earned it. Nobody lucks into the playoffs in the West. But the Rockets effort is pathetic. The Clippers game is a must win now. Then the Rockets have to hold serve at home. Do those 2 things and the Rockets magic number for clinching a playoff spot would be 1 or 2.
i am not a jazz fan or a blazers fan, but if i was i would be proud with my head held high. On the other hand i am absolutely ashamed that i am actually a fan of these heartless losers. If we dont have talent, thats fine, play hard. If we have injuries, its ok, play smart. But i refuse to feel alright when my team gives up, lay down, and just tank their way out of the playoffs. THANKFULLY, this team is losing me very fast. and YES portland has PROFESSIONALS or have you forgotten taht they traded away their cancers, and is now about to overtake the rockets. I can not believe you still have the face to laugh when your team is a pathetic collection of losers. Let me tell you, i am certainly not as happy as you.
In response, I was talking to my friend tonight and we both agreed that the Rockets of old would never collapse this badly at the end of the season. Hakeem, Elie, Drexler, Smith, Thorpe, you name it, they all refused to lose. They made an effort to reach the playoffs. These dudes just seem like they don't care, except for maybe Jim Jackson, poor guy.
As stated above, ANY team that makes the playoffs in the west deserves to be there. I'm a Jazz fan and know that the Rockets deserve to be in the playoffs, same goes for the Jazz if they make it.

The crummy bandwagon fans should get off already. We don't make the playoffs...boo!!! We make the playoffs...boo!!! There's something wrong with this team, but they deserve our support. Get over it and find a new hobby.
I'm losing hope myself. Especially my hope that Steve Francis would eventually evolve into a smart player. Tonight's display was pathetic. There are at least 50 examples during the season of stupid behavior on his part. I'm talking about things that are outside the realm of debate, and basketball playing. 20 of those reasons are his league leading technical foul count. 3 more reasons happened tonight. 2 offensive fouls to start the game because he was frustrated by the opposition's good D, and then getting a technical from the bench for walking out on the court. Unbelievably stupid considering we are already collapsing.
they did a look in on the game on espn.. and the commentators were saying.. "how does that song go.. free falling" .. so the national media is starting to think of it as a joke... that being said. if we make the playoffs we deserve the playoffs. The top 8 records in the west get the playoffs so if you have a top 8 record you earned the spot. .
i still have the hope of a blow up of the team in teh offseason, bringing in professionals to replace these losers, that is my sole light at the end of the tunnel. But it is good to hear theres still ignorant fools out there who will blindly cheer for any crap your city produces. Use your head, losers who have no heart do not deserve us as fans, they deserve to get blown up.
