Still don't see how angry reactions lead to anything that helps make society a better place for black people, brown people, white people As a black man with children, the goal should be for my children to be able to leave the house and I don't have to worry about them being profiled simply because they are black Now if you can convince me that by watching the stars they look up to reacting with anger to a violent criminal getting shot that will lead to a world where I could be comfortable letting my black children roam society without being profiled, i'm all ears if you can convince me that them calling for protests, that in many cases lead to buildings being burned down and communities being destroyed (these are the ones the media shows them and everyone else) will lead to a world where my children could roam society without me being worried about them being profiled because they are black, i'm all ears If you just want to be heard, to be woke, to not let basketball be a distraction.....all that is well and good, how does it make the future better? I'm all ears
Great points, just one nitpick. The media has made it EXTREMELY clear that they are on the BLM side of this issue, and almost certainly won’t show the darker side of the riots. For better or worse.
I didn't miss it at all. These Covid-19 times have taught me that there's more productive things I can be doing with my time.
Yes and No Yes, they have made it clear they are on the side of BLM, zero doubt about that They will almost ALWAYS show the violence, it gets ratings. Ratings=Money (not saying it should matter, but it does)
That wasn’t the bet you insufferable wank but I’d urge to contribute anyway if you’d like. If the season is cancelled I’ll honor my end. https://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.ph...ng-game-5-per-woj.306762/page-7#post-13075931
I still miss it. I've done plenty of productive things and love what I've done with my free time but I will always love basketball.
So the season resumes, I overheard the interaction between CP3 and Westbrook was initially positive but soured at the end. They both shook hands after agreeing to postpone the game then CP3 asked Russ "how's the leg, I heard you are ready?" and Russ responded "not quite but will be 100% in 3-4 days"
Have you seen the tweet that says Tillman paid the cops to do this to buy time for Russ to get healthy? What a twisted world we all inhabit.
YOLOLOL. Just let him "ADD" instead of owning a bet. On another note, Russ power levels are surging to 9000.
Russ and CP in that meeting: Russ: "you know Im playing today and Im gonna bust your ass right, but Im trying to make a stand, what you think?" CP: "Hell Nah, Im trying to play today with you still not 100" Russ: "We can boycott and I bust your ass later, or we can play and I can bust your ass right here in this room!" CP: "Alright, lets boycott, it really does send a good message"
LOL, yeah they should be more on the Black Lives Don't Matter side of the issue so that you don't feel as personally aggrivieved. Good riddance, NBA, media, whatever doesn't need you.
This is not what I mean. I'm glad players went on strike, that isn't giving me any anxiety. Rooting for the Rockets gives me anxiety.
The bet was $10. Yeah I added to make it $20. LOLOLOLOL someone still hasn't learned to stay in their own lane.
