What a joke. Are we going to "boycott" every time a violent criminal gets got after fighting with police? Or were the police, after he forcibly resisted arrest, just supposed to let him potentially grab a gun from his car, or potentially flee with the children in the car as hostages? This particular shooting was entirely justified and has little to do with issues of "racial justice." Don't want to get shot? Don't resist arrest. This is not to say that unjustified police shootings have never occurred, and obviously those should be dealt with. However, again, this is not a "racial justice" issue. It is a police misconduct issue. It is a problem regardless of the race of the victim. There is no credible evidence that police are specifically targeting blacks out of racial animus. Blacks commit crime at a much higher rate according to all published statistics. Accordingly, one would expect them to be arrested at a higher rate commensurate with the crime they commit. And if a fixed percentage of arrests unfortunately turn violent and result in a police shooting, then yes, some blacks will be shot. I have never seen any credible statistical analysis indicating that the rate at which blacks are shot by police is caused by racial discrimination, as opposed to the relatively higher rate at which blacks commit crime and interact with police. Somehow, openly discussing basic facts and statistics has become taboo because they make people uncomfortable. The sensationalism behind this issue is absurd. The number of police shootings (and particularly shootings of unarmed suspects) is remarkably low when compared to the total number of arrests. Obviously it will never be zero. Police appear to be doing a good job in general already. Any "reform" that spares the lives of criminals will necessarily place police officers at greater risk and lead to additional police deaths. I personally would prefer more dead criminals than police officers. Should we throw a national tantrum every time the occasional mistake happens (but only if the victim is a certain race, because if overzealous police unjustifiably shoot a white victim it remains a local news story as it should be, whereas our seditious media blows up any shooting of a black victim into a national scandal)? Frankly, everyone involved should be ashamed for promoting imaginary and divisive racial "grievances."
Relax, they'll figure it in days or weeks. At least give an official statement. Can't let this happen on a weekly basis.
When the person from the hood you refer to doesn't fight the police and put them (and others) in danger by their actions before people pulled out their cell phones to start recording. Let the facts come out, and if protesting is warranted once we have the facts, I'll be more inclined to go along.

Just because he has a record doesn't give cops the right to execute him in the street. There are many other ways they could've apprehended him. The police in this country are out of control.
