    Having a #3 sales figure on cdnow/amazon doesn't mean much. I can give countless examples of an album selling well over the internet but having little success at retail stores. I do find that 40,000 cd's an hour very hard to believe.

    I don't think anyone is criticizing William (well, maybe his singing).

    I criticize GS for subjecting their fans to this. I don't care how many CD he'll sell. That is not entertainment (well, at least to me). I guess I'm over the hill, I just don't see the humour or any entertaining value from his act?

    Kudos to William for grabbing the opportunity and run with it. I hope this fad won't continue for long.

    "and people blame FILE SHARING for record sales going down the toilet?"

    ...he's still better than Ricky Martin, though...

    If he could, he wouldn't be selling any CD. He appeals to sick people and he has to stay that way. What is ridiculous is GSW treat all the audience as sick people. I think they should allow people to bring eggs in tonight. That will please everyone. Audience get some target practise, and this guy get more media coverage and sell more CD's to his fans.

    Just watched a couple of his vids on the site....

    Just have the dancers, that is all I need to see.

    William Hung is a joke not a jerk. One of the judges for the American Idols is a jerk.

    William Hung should realize what is his capability. But one thing he did right is the statement he made during the review. He showed more professionlism than the judge.

    This is the neatest Asian coming to America success story I have heard since that guy who buys real estate with no money down. You know, the guy who came to America with nothing, now is sitting on the yatch, wearing a white suit, with beautiful girls hanging around on board. I love this country - the land of opportunity!

    Plus, that's damn good karaoke! Now is his first name pronounced to sound like "well"?
