yes, but by being several steps in front of Shroeder, they will have the time to cut off his drives. If he settles for the midrange pull-up, you contest as well as you can, but that's a successful outcome for the defense.

If you press up on him, Shroeder has the foot-speed and shiftiness to blow by you every time.

I don't care to litigate what you meant when you said "switch everything". The word "everything" has a different meaning to you and I. Your attitude sucks and you've done it again, assuming that every person (such as @foggy94) that disagrees with you watches nothing but the Rockets. You really think that I'm not gonna watch basketball all day after the 4 month absence lol (s/o hehestreams)?

Do you disagree with the idea that the Rockets can use judgment on switches on screens between Shroeder and another non-shooter? That's fine, we can debate the best defensive strategy for this situation. Are the Rockets able to communicate well enough to execute this plan? How will OKC counter if we employ this strategy? All great points to consider.

Just because we come to different conclusions doesn't mean that one person is oblivious to the truth, so biased that their viewpoint is unworthy of consideration. I've watched the game for many years and have enough conviction in my viewpoint that I don't feel the need to put you down to "win" this argument. The fact that you rely on this crutch when posting tells me that you lack this same confidence. Maybe if you tempered your posts a bit, you'd get support outside of your burner account

I couldn't careless if you don't like it. You're in no position to walk in trying to check someone.

lol at burner account. it's loser talk like this that has a number of cf's posters be so embarrassing. tf I need a burner account for. I've had no problem telling it like it is from day 1. And I still have no problem. who's getting personal now. Certainly isn't me.

So by this logic are you a burner account then.

I can talk basketball all day. I love it. But if others choose to steer away from that and put all this other nonsense into it, you'll get the same back. don't get upset and then cry foul as a result.

Exactly, play off Schroder like Harden does.

RoCo and Green are pressing him too tight BEFORE he picks up his dribble.

Kudos to Foggy who spotted it right away.

I'm just tired of the Rocket defenders allowing players to drive to the rim with their dominate (right) hand for layups. Let's cut out the layup line to the rim and try making them shoot over the top. Force them to the left and most players can't finish going left and they definitely shoot a lower percentage.

On Schroder's 2nd fake, if he would've actually shot it, Harden would've fouled him on the contest.

I just don't get why Dantoni won't have Rivers guard this guy most of the time. Rivers needs more minutes!

Agreed. Two straight games of the same story. Slowing him down needs to be the main focus defensively going into game five, and it starts in the film room paying attention to things like this.

It’s not a stretch to say Schroder is the reason this series is tied right now.

You hold Schroder under 20 points and this would have been a sweep.

Speculative but possible. Harden may also have cleanly blocked him as well.

Schroder's 3ball wind up is really slow and almost elongated instead of compact.

Because Rivers has played like **** in his limited minutes, same with McLemore.

We can search his statistic this year and find out which matches he shoot poorly. We can.use the same method to guard him. If we can guard this guard and limit his points below 20, we can win the match just like game 1 and 2.

Then why does Dantoni give Gordon so much more slack than Rivers when the former is much less efficient and more turnover prone?
