This is good news, we needed another shotblocker in the paint and I miss the twice a game Steve to Kelvin opp.

Sadly, we are better off with Cato starting and MoT coming off the bench. Hopefully, it will help us get the few needed wins to clinch.

Henry James (I believe his first name was Henry)
    Tracy Moore
    Sam Mack
    Thomas Hamilton
    Charles Jones, Captain

Granted some of these guys lasted more than 10 days, but they were all signed, IIRC, to 10 day contracts.

April 6, 2004 - The Houston Rockets have activated forward/center Kelvin Cato from the injured list, general manager Carroll Dawson announced today. In a related move, the Rockets waived forward Charles Oakley, who had signed the first of two 10-day contracts with Houston on Mar. 18.

Cato missed the last 10 games after being placed on the injured list on Mar. 18 with a left shoulder sprain. This season the 6-11, 275-pound veteran is averaging 6.1 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.37 blocked shots, starting 64 of his 65 games at power forward. He ranks second on the Rockets in both rebounds per game and blocked shots per game.

Oakley averaged 1.3 points and 0.7 rebounds in seven games with Houston.

The Rockets roster now stands at 12 active players.

Well! It looks like we are now only partially knicked!:D

Hmmmm, or were we de-knickered? Un-knickered?

Now Oakley can just go home instead of the locker room and tell whoever wants to listen what problems the Rockets need to fix.
