Gordon normally wouldn't be dribbling more than 3 times, but with WB out and Harden being guarded by Dort Gordon has to create offense out of nothing which is absolutely disgusting to watch

Is McLemore in the dog house? Serious question. Wasn't in foul trouble but only played 17 minutes with 2 shots. He's been part of our success. Don't want to see that fall apart.

Poor shooting is law of large numbers. It is bound to happen.

I’ve mentioned that the Rocket’s floor of 3P% at which the game can still be won is perhaps 30%. At that level (which is what happened this game) the game at the other end has to be an A game in order for the team to get on top. The margin of error is minuscule. 16 turnovers are not going to cut it. Missing FTs are making things worse. Early foul trouble is a contributing factor. Thunder small ball counter punch was somewhat expected but still a bit of a shockwave and the team seemed to be ill-prepared to self-adjust. The much exploited BMac black hole is tough to patch up. Defensive intensity was not on par with last game. I’m still optimistic about this series. But the team needs to come back next game with the voracity and vigor that took our breath away in the previous game.

that's fine if the refs let OKC be physical.. but be fair and allow HOU to do the same

If these two hadn't been a factor, none of the others would have even mattered.

    7. Missed free throws, especially the game winner
    8. House rotating off of SGA to give him the open potential-winning 3; he stepped off of SGA to triple Chris Paul at the hoop with Jeff Green and someone else (Harden?)

    That's your game right there.

Hey, we want the RIGHT call in ever situation, not always the call that favors us. From this angle, it sure looks like the refs got it right.

Completely agree, I just didn't only want to bash poor House. He played well overall.

We need to adjust to the Thunder playing tighter defense. They adjusted to ours, now we need to adjust to theirs. We looked surprised and confused by it too many times. And we need to be more judicious in using our fouls. The rest — a bad shooting night for us, a good one for them — will even out over time.

It has to. Gordon and everyone need to hit their shots. I don't know if we'll win game 4 either.

All good westbrook is gonna have to come back game 4 and gordon gonna be sent back to the bench where he belongs. He has no business starting.

Tucker missing wide open corner 3s is inexcusable! Shot the most corner 3s in the league, act like you can make them. Sheesh!

if russ doesnt play and covington and harden arent in foul trouble we wont just win, we will blow them out in game 4

covington and harden have insane advanced numbers in the bubble and the league knows it

I didn't like the blown Adams call, but if we hit a few more shots or had a few more plays beforehand it wouldn't have come to that.

We knew they would try to fight, and it took an OT effort and an off shooting night for OKC to get there, tip your hat to them it was a good game.

Then study film on OKC's weaknesses, what worked for us and practice what to improve on both ends, get rest and come back fresh to win the next one.

In addition to overall adjustments, I'd like to specifically see plays to screen Dort out or make plays when he attempts to come back to Harden on switches.

Take him out of the play entirely or wear him out forcing him to fight through multiple screens all game.

Then make open shots/drives with screen setters in the time he tries to get back on Harden, if James doesn't have a good look. Turn Dort on Harden into a weakness.

why roco plays 19 minutes ?
    EG 3 points keep missing
    House last mins foul ball
    Defence

    Next game
EG shoots more 2 points, drive in, layup or dunk to get and one better. He should play like westbrooks, Houston can easy win.
We have many good accuracy 3 pointer like tucker, House, Harden, Rivers and Green. 10 shots just 2 in is under NBA level.
If westbrooks comes out, EG plays less minutes
Jeff green shoots more and add more minutes to play
    Improve defence strength
Roco plays more minutes and do more layup, drive.or slam dunk and focus on defence and assist also fine

Fair enough on the 2nd one but OT was just a trainwreck. Needed to ice it in regulation.
