He apparently hasn't scored more than 20 points in 10 straight playoff games.

CP3 / Redick / Simmons / Embiid + pieces would be an amazing team.

Teams that trade, not sign Tobias Harris to 4-year, $180M deal, are the ones that succeed long term.

"Yeah, we know you've been traded 4 times by the age of 26 but we want to make Philadelphia your home and give you $180M."

Sixers really traded two firsts, two seconds, Landry Shamet & gave him $180M.

Their owners will never be confused with cheap FernTits ... but good luck moving two of those.

    Tobias Harris
    $31,034,483
    $33,517,241
    $36,000,000
    $38,482,759
    $40,965,517

    Al Horford
    $28,000,000
    $27,500,000
    $27,000,000
    $26,500,000 **2022-23 is partially guaranteed for $14.5M

    Joel Embiid
    $27,504,630
    $29,542,010
    $31,579,390
    $33,616,770

    Ben Simmons
    $8,113,930
    $29,250,000
    $31,590,000
    $33,930,000
    $36,270,000
    $38,610,000

philly is such an ugly team to watch.

    a PF starting at SF
    a C playing along another C.

    prehistoric basketball.

Sixers are a mess. Very likely to get swept here.
They spended all their money so wrong. They got 2 bigs ( tobias harris and Al horford) and both are overpaid. They need somebody who can create of the drible and shoot .
I know this will not happen, but they should trade one of their two assets ( embid and simmons) to make this team make sense. If it was me, ill trade Embiid and try to get more shooting around simmons, and play Tobias Harris as a 4 with horford and sometimes as a small ball 5.

Sixers make offense look so hard. It’s brutal to watch.

agreed. They have to trade either Simmons or Embiid. I don’t like Simmons that much as you can’t build around a player that can’t shoot but Embiid is an injury waiting to happen. In today’s NBA, it’s hard to build around a traditional big man. Guys like Porzingis are an exception.

I think you can build around simmons. First of all, he is one of the best defenders in the league, and if hes got a team with shooters that can run with him, he will be unstopable. He just needs room in the lane, coz hes got the vision to pass if he drives and get doubled.
For embiid i think you can get somebody like beal who can shoot and also create a bit of the dribble. I guy like that is what simmons needs as his costar. Other names that come to mind that could work great with him are : middleton, klay ( he works well with any other player in the league) , Beal, ironically, jimmy buttler, devin booker, etc, you guys get the idea. Not that that would be easy to get, but those are the kind of costars that would work amazing for him.

The Sixers would be foolish to build around a 16 ppg scorer that can't shoot.

Don't understand the Simmons hype. He should be just as dominate as Giannis, or at least 80% as dominate, but he doesn't know how to use is size and strength like Giannis. ****, Westbrook at 6'3" uses his size and athleticism better than Ben Simmons.

Brett Brown is getting fired for sure

Jimmy Butler left, and Philly was done from then on

Tobias Harris and Horford were 2 terrible decisions

    they will waste Embiid

I’ve seen a few Sixers fans hoping that we fail and Harden ends up on the block

Feel sorry for Embiid after that game. He tried. But that team sucks.

Half a billion dollar committed in guaranteed contracts and Philly has no offense.

    Absolutely pathetic.

Sixers need to clean house and go back to tanking. At least that was fun.

I know the lead was slim, but Boston winning this game makes all of the first-quarter winners 3-0 today. Yesterday they were 3-1. The point was that it is tough to play from behind in the playoffs. Teams catching up have to extend more energy to try to make up the deficit.
