    Because he has an awesome life if he can live with the fact he is a terrible monster. He controls and profits off an entire college, he has a wife that tolerates and doesn’t question any behavior and loves him, he has a bunch of rubes that think he is esteemed, he has endless money and connections, he has frequent sex with many different women, he has access to yachts... he can say and do anything he wants without consequence.

    His life is awesome as long as he doesn’t dwell on the fact he is a fraud... but I doubt that bothers him because his father was a fraud... and he is an atheist so he has no fear of hell... just pound the coeds, do drugs, workout, collect money, party with wife.. rinse and repeat until at 85 he decides there is a God, when he asks for forgiveness and dies without feeling any fear.
