Several chinese fans saw Yao Ming watch CBA(CHINA) final online @ 2:00 am on the day with Minnesota. That's part of the reasons we lost the game. Yao surfed on the web very late.On his website, sometimes he responded posters like 2:00 in the morning.
I guess that is better than being up at 2:00am partying with groupies like half the other guys on the team.
What are you talking about? The last CBA final game is being played on 3 Mar 2004. Guangdong beat Bayi Rockets 3-1. Link: http://sports.sina.com.cn/k/2004-03-03/2113795699.shtml Don't bash Yao without any evidence.
He's 23 mofo, and I'm his daddy so he needs to go to bed early and rise early. Did anyone else read that headline on sleeping too much vs. too little?
good job for beating a head horse! Its not a big deal. This guy is just a basketball maniac.playing bb all day long, surfing bb forum, competing in NBA Live Sport 200X, This guy is no drink,no smoke, no f**k!whats even worse is hes living with his parents!sign!what a lousy life!
haha... i don't know about drinking and smoking but the third one kinda stinks. but actually, if someone offered me lots of money to play basketball for a living and then video games when i'm not playing basketball, I'd do it. the only problem would be the intense media pressure and the scruntiny just walking around town.
It's funny you mention this. I heard in an interview with someone on Espnradio (I think it was Aldridge) a while back, that the new generation of teenage NBA players (he mentioned Curry and Chandler by name) are more likely to be playing video games in their hotel rooms than going out to strip clubs and stuff like that. I thought it was pretty funny. BTW the alltime most unbelievable thing I every heard about an NBA player was about Ron Artest. When he was still in Chicago, he actually applied to work at a "Best Buy" just to get the employee discount. But he put one of the Bull's personel as a referance, and when the Best Buy people found out that he was a multimillionaire professional basketball player he didn't get the job.
I don't see the fuss. His folks are both professional basketball coaches. His dad happened to be Chinese National Team centre.
Teams often don't even check into their hotel at that time. How do I know that? I worked as an on site facilitator for an agency that handled sports franchises travel arrangements. I dealt with their on site hotel arrangements and I'd always be present to greet them at their hotel. At least 75% of the time the teams didn't arrive until after midnight. They'd play games and fly in after the game. It's no big deal he was up at that hour.
