    I am thinking of watching the RNC Convention a lot. It will be a good, though I am sure reviews of all the Fox and rightwing talk radio memes I rarely have the stomach to partake in.
    I am hoping they highlight some QAnon adherents for instance.

    I'm wondering if they will still have at least a small crowd in person. Trump has already said he doesn't want any prerecorded speeches he also has a hard time just giving speeches without a crowd where he can riff and feed off of them. I can see for some of the main speeches having a crowd or for that matter doing piped in crowd noise like NBA.

    I'm listening to a Democratic and Republican strategists discuss the DNC and what might happen on the RNC. When the Republican strategist was asked what will the RNC focus on she said, "That Joe Biden might be a nice guy but this is about the cost of a Biden-Harris-Sanders-Warren-AOC- ticket will be. What the cost will be to middle class families." That tells me that they are all in for this idea that Biden is sold out to the Left wing of the party and they will be bringing up things like the Green New Deal, Defunding Police and Medicare for All, which were barely mentioned at the DNC.

    What is interesting is that she added almost as an afterthought, "highlighting accomplishments of this Administration" and "we will talk about how this administration has helped unions through things like the USMCA." That tells me that they would like to downplay Trump himself and even run from things like the tax cut and the more rightwing agenda.

    The wild card I can see here though is no matter how carefully planed the RNC is is whether Trump himself can stay on message.
