Jason Richardson would argue otherwise wrt D'antoni's Steve Nash offense.

As crazy as it may sound, he is an upgrade over Clint.

So... how would Jeff Green's career have turned out differently if he was coached by Mike D'Antoni since the very beginning?

Because its not just 3ball shooting but also the ability to defend 1-5.

Confidence. Coach is the best to maximize one’s strength. The player that didn’t work well under him was Melo.

Green is pretty much Shawn Marion without the crazy rebounding numbers. The matrix is the prototypical Big in the MDA system.

    You mean Uncle Jeff,
That ole timer is balln. He is playing as if every game is his last and leaving it out there. This is sustainable as long he doesn’t do too much and plays within the offense.

The winning formula. Three 3&D forwards that can make the right pass, two HOF caliber guards, two to three back up guards and (most importantly for Harden) a POINT FORWARD!

Harden has played great with aplay making point forward who can create their own shot or is a decent enough passer to make plays for others. The list of forwards that Harden has had great success with include Durant, DMo, Beasley, Josh Smith and now Jeff Green. The Rockets need to make sure that hey have this type of forward on the roster for the rest of Hardens career.

That fact that he outplayed Covington and earned a spot in crunch time was pretty impressive.

Green has been great and has all of the skillset this team has been sorely missing but his achilles heel has always been shrinking under pressure the more you start relying on him the more he disappears.

Now maybe since Harden and Westbrook are so dominant on this team he does feel the pressure but I am worried the deeper we get in the playoffs the more he will start to tighten.

With that said Uncle Jeff just looks very comfortable and will never have to create his own offense.

Remember the narrative going around that no one wanted to play with Harden because he was too ball dominant and your stats would suffer? How many guys now have produced better numbers with Harden and MDA at this point?

If I'm a guard or forward, especially a 3 and D guy that is looking for a payday down the road, I'm looking at joining Houston because I'm likely to gain value.
