Somehow this is related to who can get the bigger share of the $$$, while the consumers and the people doing this for "Extra cash" get the shaft. My brother drove Uber in CA during the pandemic to make some extra cash, it was never meant to be a full replacement job. He got a job and quit uber. i think Uber filled his need to make some extra cash on the side, without having to listen to some boss yelling at him to work faster. He told me, if he did it for 1 year, he can make $40,000 to $50,000 per year but it is long hours of work and it's a killer on his back but at least he didn't have to hear any crap from a middle manager.
Anyone who’s been in an Uber in California gets the this is one of my jobs story because it’s so expensive out there. When you get picked up in a BMW 7 series you know people there need some extra money
The problem with California is obvious They are wasting their tax payers money and then trying to make it up by taxing the crap out of them and businesses
