As tempting as it would be to start Green, I think he's perfect coming off the bench. Green and Gordon did a number on the Thunder. Both with 30 or more minutes, each with 4 assists, Eric with 4 boards, Jeff with 6. Not astonishing rebounding numbers by a long shot, but very welcome indeed. The Thunder seemed confused for much of the game to me. Long may it last. If Gordon and Green can continue to play this well, we're going to go far, folks. Toss in Westbrook, who we hardly seemed to miss, at least in this game, and we have a very solid 9 man rotation. I don't think Eric has played this well the entire year. His drives to the basket really got me excited, as did his passing. I was beginning to think that version of Eric Gordon was now in the rearview mirror forever. Jeff Green? He's a revelation. What a find by Morey! I really have to tip my hat to Daryl. Green is far more skilled than I realized and seems to get more comfortable on the court with every game. He really played well with Eric and we already knew he was a great fit with James. Is there anything the guy can't do?
I guess Gordon is going to start but a bench with Rivers Green Gordon and Westbrook would be nice to have on the floor when Harden is sitting. Always try to have McLemore in with James since he can hit his open shots better than others usually.
He had a bizarre coast to coast three pointer, where everyone just avoided him like he had Covid at 6:55
