No violence is ok. I don't condone any looting and violence. All people conducting violent acts should be thrown in jail. Innocent protesters shouldn't be grouped in the same category though. Every day people are murdered and assaulted in our city too. There are parts of Houston that are dangerous as hell. Drugs, gangs, and criminals who won't think twice about beating you down if you look at them wrong.
For the record Portland isn't a ****show. Certain areas are bad. But the violence is only by a small minority even in those areas. Most of the videos show small numbers of people doing violent things. The overall attendence consists of numbers far beyond the tens of people breaking the law.
