Bet with your head and not with your heart, Manny. If I bet with my heart, do you have any earthly idea how much money I would have lost on UT football in the past five years???? :D

I, too, had UConn winning it all, but that's irrelevant. The way they played against Alabama was incredible; Okafor scored 2 points and didn't even play a full half. Ben Gordon and Rashad Anderson were unstoppable, especially from long-range. If Okafor has trouble down low, look for those guys to step up.

    UConn 76 GTech 63

I think it would be great if Tech pulls this one out; they've had a fantastic year.

Now who (else) thinks Tech wouldn't be here if Bosh had stayed?

But Tex, it really wasn't a bet with my heart. Yea, I would have been ecstastic to see OSU win it all, but they along with UConn were playing as well as anyone in the tourney. Many had them in the final game, even winning it all - definitely more so than Georgia Tech.

Just wondering Manny, but how is OSU your team? (I'm assuming they are)

    Eddie Sutton.

I still remember crying when they lost to UCLA in the 1995 Final 4.

I just like how his teams play with their defensive intensity and their motion offense.

I know. That's why I've been cleaning up this year. I've had GT going to the final TWO in each of the 6 brackets I filled out this year. They play intense defense, and they have had one of the toughest schedules in the country this year.

Though a GT win would win me $200, i'm gonna go with my heart, the Huskies. Tech has yet to face an early deficit like Uconn is capable of putting on them. If its a double digit Uconn lead early, forget about any comebacks.

I love a team that has the will to win in the close nailbiters that the Techsters have played in all season. I remember their game earlier this season with Duke where they snapped the long 40+ game winning streak in Cameron and I saw that they were going to be a force to be reckoned with. Every time Duke made a run, the Yellow Jackets countered it. They are not the most intimidatingly talented team as UConn is. But they have enough and have a great chemistry that can overcome their deficiencies. Add a bit of good old-fashioned lockdown defense and you have a national championship club. I had Paul Hewitt on my radio show last week and he mentioned that his kids believe that they are supposed to win the close ones.

    G Tech 76
    UConn 74

    UConn by 2

Schencher is from my state, a couple of hours from where i live, damn the guy has improved

foul trouble btw him and okafur could decide this

the battle between Gordon and the GT guards should be sensational

    Luke does have a posse

No no no. You heard it here 1st. Gtech will win. (You guys suck:p)

Couple of tidbits, Gtech has a wicked D, and like 27% O3%. They will get after the Uconn shooters and Uconn will get razzled. Gordan is the only player who really can keep that offense together with intense pressure (Okafur can't get the ball in good position all by himself), and I just see too many guys who will wear him down.

Gtech in a brutal defensive squeaker. Remeber, you saw it here 1st.

GaTech has barely won every game. Hopefully this isn't too close, because I'm rooting for UConn for my bracket. I wouldn't mind if GaTech won though because I like Jack and the coach.
    UConn 80
    GaTech 74

Having a reliable post in Okafor plus one of the best guards in Gordon should hopefully be enough to overcome Georgia Tech's D and unselfishness.

By the way Will Bynum almost went to OSU. He hit the game-winner in the Final 4. I guess OSU and GaTech both got good deals though.

I hate to be one of those that I told you so but Tech was really lucky to get here and it is showing. I am still amazed that so many thought that Tech was going to win this game.

They played the game of their lives and were fortunate to beat OSU; why did anyone think they are going to beat a team with 2 1st round draft picks?

I bet on Conn, my family all went to Conn, and I still got bored. Been watching Daily Show for 15 minutes now.
