It's the pro debut of our Soccer Messiah/Savior Freddy Adu.

I wonder what kind of ratings ABC gets for this game.. probably some of the highest ones they've had just because of him.

I wish I could say I was a soccer fan.. because as popular as it is worldwide I'm sure it's a pretty good sport.. but I can't make myself watch more than a few minutes of it

i'm watching it. its pretty damn exciting with or without adu.
remember there are other stars in the league like landon donovan on san jose.

i'm eagerly awaiting adu to check in the game though.

It was a pretty good game, even when Adu wasn't in there. In fact, I would say it was more exciting soccer-wise when he wasn't in, but that is not Adu's fault. He played just fine. I tried to get tix for this game earlier this week but it was already sold out, so I am going to the next United home game in 2 weeks to see the kid. I just think it's great to have people caring about soccer for a change.

I watched the first two minutes of the opener, then went to Taco Bell, and Game Crazy. I came back to the 90th minute with two minutes into stoppage time. I saw him running on the pitch of RFK Stadium.

It was the greatest moment of my life.

Do you guys get to see Premiere League and Serie A games on TV at home?

I always wonder why the interest in soccer is so poor in the U.S. when it's so high all over the world. Maybe it's because you guys don't see the good games all year long until the World Cup, or am I mistaken?
