Apparently the Bulls feel that Cato is not worth the #4 pick (which he's not), but they are still interested. A more likely scenario involves the Bulls sending the #4 to Boston in exchange for the #10 and #21 picks in the draft, then the Bulls give the Rockets the #21 and a player in exchange for Cato.

FINE! Whatever it takes to get him out of here.

Make this trade as long as we don't pickup any large contracts in the process (do the Bulls have any stiffs on their team with a long term deal???)

I gave you basically the whole story above, though. They can't make an announcement like that before July 1st, or it's tampering.

Yeah, the pop-ups are annoying, but the site that contracts out my views gives me NBA media passes, so I LOVE them. [IMG]

#4 for #10 and #21????? That is a terrible trade, imo. I don't think that will ever happen.

Dude, it's obvious your just advertising your site. I think most intelligent posters realize that Cato's not worth the #4 pick, but thank you for your wise insight. I don't know where I'd be without such great "scoops".

    The Rocket Guy,

Do you not find it excessive that you post a link to your site twice in your post? Was there a good reason for that? I know you typed it twice, because the last damn link is NOT in your signature like so many have asked you to do.

One last question, do you not find it odd that you start all of this right when Clutch leaves? I find it odd, but that's just me.

Gee, Cato's not worth the #4. There's a real shocker. Maybe some of the people on the board will now awaken from their dreams of "Cato for #4 cuz tha Bullz like him".

If that were true, we could trump that deal. We were willing to give all of our picks to Vancouver for #6! Why don't we give them to the Bulls for #4?

Note To The Rockets Management: Keep atleast 2 draft picks, and get rid of Cato because Krause is a jackass and he's the only one that will take the Lazy Man.

IMO, they should try and get Fizer for Cato and the #23. He isn't working out because of Brand. Fizer would fit in pretty good with the Rockets. They wouldn't have to sign Taylor to a big deal and they could now not depend on Webber, and they can focus their thoughts on Moochie, Olajuwon, Jackson, and (the sleeper of this year's FAs)E-Rob.

Bill, I could have told you that.

We have heard the Bulls want Cato rumors. We have also had at least 6-7 threads about deal involving Cato to the Bulls.

Most of us know that Cato isn't worth a top 10 draft pick.

But I don't think we will even get the #21 you say we will get for Cato. The team probably wants to drop a draft pick.

Dr. Of Dunk- Wow. I just laughed really hard when I read your post.

Paging Jeff. Jeff, where are you? Perhaps you could accompany Rocket Guy's banishment with an email regarding the process by which one creates a signature on the BBS.

The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why i didn't get more meat, ill just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where ive hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?

Why do you have to flame the guy? No one's forcing you to read this thread. The title is obvious to what the thread it about.

This is exactly the reason why new posters don't post.

You're right, i dont have to read this. But it irritates me to see numerous stupid threads about the same stupid topic, especially when the creator of the thread is stupidly over-promoting his site. I will be the last one to flame newcomers. I'm no Mango, so chill.

vj23k- dont agree with your assessment of Wallace. He is the future.

Well if the Rockets can not only DUMP Cato to the Bulls, along with obtaining any draft picks, I would have to award the Rockets staff with the "negotiator of the year award." And I thought all along it would take US giving another sucker, I mean team, draft picks just to take this guy off the payroll.

I really don't know what to think as TRG comes to this TRUE and PURE site. We somehow need to filter out all the speculation and just pick up the Trueness of the rumors. Cato is gone, maybe not. No offense but some people on this site (Clutch, Doc Rocket and Olie) are more believable and when they announce the Rockets have a trade partner for Cato, people are going to believe them more because they don't announce speculation. Come on, we need to hear facts and not hearsay. Please. I mean, unless we have belief in some of the "rumors" that some of you talk of, then people like myself will start to believe you all. However, sometimes it is hard to when what you say is going to happen doesn't. Just my POV. Sorry for putting you on the spot but this goes for everyone as well sometimes.

So... you need a few hits on your site to get some dough from Omaha Steaks so you go to someone else's respectable site and blatantly promote your own site with manufactured rumors.

After observing the way this site is run I put together a few tips for gaining respect here:

    1) you don't put rumors on your front page headlines unless they have some type of confirmation
    2) you have to post here a few times and contribute before you can receive
    3) you don't blatantly advertise things that earn you money without disclosing the fact that they make you money
    4) if you do want to advertise, be honest and advertise, don't try to disguise it as something else

Here are a few ironic excerpts from The Rocket Guy's web site-

    From the FAQ section:

I play basketball all the time and my knees, ankles, and arches hurt. I have tried ice packs, heating pads, and pain killers, but nothing is really helping me. Can YOU help me, Rocket Guy?

As a matter of fact, I can. I started having arch pain last Spring and nothing I did made it any better. I, too, tried ice, heat, and even saw a doctor, but nothing helped until I tried our one of our sponsors - ALOE FLEX! I would never have believed that something as simple as aloe could make such a difference, but I believe now! Click on the link at the top of the page and give it a try! The people who operate that site are TRUE BLUE Rockets fans, too, so they deserve our support.

From the rules for posting on his own message board:

DON'T make a posting that says nothing but "Me, too." This is most annoying when combined with (1) or (2) above. Ditto for "I don't know."

DO remember the immortal words of Martin Farquhar Tupper (1810-1889): "Well-timed silence hath more eloquence than speech."

PS: If someone with info on Cato wants to set me straight on any of this I would be happy to apologize. I don't think a link to your own site qualifies as a confirmation to a rumored trade.
