Can't believe he lived so long. Guess it was all that free testing he got. He was old as hell already in The Firm and that was 30 years ago.

The Thing, The Natural, Cocoon, and The China Syndrome...it seems like I see him every couple of weeks again in one of those. All epic performances that won me over. But, he never got me to eat Quaker Oats. RIP

I think Wilford was born looking like Wilford.

Enjoy your bowl of oatmeal in peace, old man.

Him playing the hardcore enforcer in The Firm was always funny to me.

And as was mentioned: The Thing, The Natural, ****, this guy was awesome.

Plus Seinfeld: He's not just a Postmaster, he's also a General.

Very sad to hear. Loved him in roles like Cocoon, The Natural, and the Thing.

For me I will always remember him as severely underrated action star..

He was excellent in The Natural, one of my favorite baseball movies. Mr Brimley could have fit perfectly into a Frank Capra film. Rest In Peace.
