I have to admit I haven't run into these people yet. Do you recognize them from afar by their giant craggy foreheads and knuckles dragging the ground? I generally meet the garden-variety dumbasses, the medical doctor back in March who was giving me Rush Limbaugh talking points about fake news, or the young man saying the coronavirus is "just the flu" (again, right wing talking points). You win, bud. You win by losing.
I have to travel a lot, especially since I lost the majority stake at my firm...... so I run into some really weird people. Also I am usually dealing with very wealthy type A personalities and they are always the most outspoken. In this case, this wasn't someone I knew, but he was dressed very nice and obviously lived in the Trump Tower in downtown Chicago..... he had lots of money..... so I guess he feels entitled to be ignorant. I didn't do it, but I almost introduced myself and said: "You are an amazing person" and was going to get his contact information so I could get more gems ...... I am sure he had quite an enlightened opinion on the protests as well.
If you meant those peaceful knucklehead rioters err...protesters, who got run over by 2 ton moving vehicles or got shot trying to show off their weapons to motorists who decided to shoot first, then I agree with you.
