I'd expect it to stay at 4 or 5 games at least. 5 game checks in a shortened season should at least deter future offenders from plunking us. His control seemed trash and idk if head shot was intentional but I'm expecting a brawl for the next dope who does it
It wasn't even the pitches for me. He literally tried to start everything. He stared down Brantley after Brantley was trying to walk off the ankle issue when Kelly decided for whatever reason to stand on the worst spot of the bag. He was literally doing everything possible to be a douche.
If you are going to hit them throw at their ass and call it a night. You don't throw at someones head that ends careers. If you are old enough to remember Dickie Thon's career was wrecked because he got beaned in the head.
For most people that area isn't going to suffer much injury. It will likely be fairly painful and bruise, but you aren't going to have to go on the IL or be out of action because of it. Hitting a guy in the head where it is career or even life threatening or hitting a guy where it could potentially break bones and cause them to miss significant time is frowned upon.

I was at that game. Sickening sound. I still remember him giving the crowd a thumbs-up as he was getting stretchered off the field. I would love to throw BP to Ken Rosenthal, if he could find a bat small enough.
