GWB is getting the advice that Rove is asking for. Rumsfeld should be fire for his "stove piping" un-vetted intel. If any of us stumpled this badly on our job, we would be shown the door post haste. This brings into question GWB's professional business experience, which we all know is minimal at best. If GWB ran a publicly traded company as poorly as he is run this country, he would get sacked and would never be able to get another job.
Clinton is a bad, bad man... from the Post article... ______________ ... The text also implicitly challenged the Clinton administration's policy, saying it did not do enough about the real threat -- long-range missiles. "We need to worry about the suitcase bomb, the car bomb and the vial of sarin released in the subway," according to excerpts of the speech provided to The Washington Post. "[But] why put deadbolt locks on your doors and stock up on cans of mace and then decide to leave your windows open?" ... In the speech prepared for Sept. 11, Rice intended to point out that the United States had spent $11 billion on counterterrorism, about twice as much as it spent on missile defense, during the previous year, although the speech did not point out that that was when President Bill Clinton was still in office.
Which would explain why instead of putting money and focus on terrorism, they spent all that stuff on the missle defense shield.
Clarke appears to have been telling the truth all along. Human beings are as sick as their secrets.........GWB and his team have a lot of lies and secrets they are covering. I don't want this story to peak now (very of its great importance) - please I hope it peaks right afetr labor day. Now that is when presidential politics foes into gear #6.
