I love during football season how SR610 has the Dom Capers show, the Aaron Glenn show, Mondays & Fridays w/ David Carr, Fridays w/ Casserly, The Inside Skinny with Steve McKinney, etc.. Why can't SR610 have a weekly segment with Coach Van Gundy during basketball season? Wow, I'd plan my schedule around that show.
John McClain should have his own show. Seriously. (I could help out, if needed) But seriously, give McClain his own hourly afternoon program!
I'm sure they would love to. However, it is not in the cards. Heck, Van Grumpy can't even be bothered to do three minutes with Gene on the pre-game except once in a blue moon.

They are actually going to dually host a show. It's going to be called, "Don't Listen." It will be one hour of them telling listeners to turn the dial, talk radio gets in the way of caoching. JVG - And let's go to Carl on the Westside. Carl..what are you doing? I thought I told you to turn the damned dial. Carl - Sorry Coach I was just... Jimy - You were just what? You were just about to turn the radio off right? RIGHT??? What did you do with my other M? Carl - I, uh, JVG - That's it your done. Look it's 4 minutes after the hour, I'm outta here. Producer Guy - Coach we still have 56 minutes of... Jimy - I'm gone too. In all honesty Coach Van Gundy is disinterested in doing radio, he was offered.
So have they read Another Brother's (Billy D. Washington's) posts on this site? He's a hell of a lot more diplomatic on the air than he is on this BBS. Somehow I don't think they have - otherwise the "conversations" he has had here w/ TJ and others would probably preclude his apearing regularly. Different media, different personas...
