I didn't read it either until Mr. Thug's comment (I was looking for a funny pic) -- anyway the writer was 21 in 2011 and put some really strange quotes in the article. Waxing and/ or shaving was common for the ladies by the late 90s early 2000s -- her article makes it seem like some strange new trend her kinky friends were trying.
