    AOC makes a great point about GOP apologies. They routinely say things like "I have a daughter" or "I have a black granddaughter" to somehow excuse their behavior. She's absolutely right. Because you have a wife doesn't mean you automatically respect women. Because you have a daughter doesn't automatically mean you respect women.

    In fact, it makes it worse, as he now has to explain to his wife and daughter (s) what he meant calling a fellow congressperson a b@#$ch. Though its very possible he calls them that too.

    That was a take down for sure.

    If I were a Republican I would be extremely wary of this lady. She is extremely effective in dissecting the typical Republican rhetoric and she's good at tapping into the every day struggles of regular people. I think AOC and Katy Porter are leading the charge for modern day progressives.
