    Don't know how he'd get this done anyway. His attempt to put a citizenship question on the census was already thwarted. We don't have a count of illegal immigrants. SC already said they can't do any schnazzy statistical modeling. The "extent practicable" is "not at all."

    There's no citizenship question on the 2020 US census anyway and since it's already started it's too late to change it and have it done in time for redistricting.

    Report out today that census workers were admitting to filling out forms without talking to anyone...pressured by supervisors to do so.

    I doubt anything happens and re-doing before 2025 would be almost impossible (and even then, it would probably have to wait until 2030). It’ll be interesting to see the numbers, though. Kind of expecting Texas to lose on this...lose Representatives and funding. Wonder what our state leaders will say if they do?

    Sorta hard to follow the law professor's shorthand, but I think she is saying that gorsuch and barrett seemed sympathetic to the argument that the census shouldn't exclude undocumented individuals. That argument would be in line with the constitution. Of course it also suggests that alito, thomas and kavanaugh were again the activists trying to rewrite the constitution...
