Rockets picked McCray over Drexler. smh

Houston could of had a core of Ralph, Glide and Dream.

Rox would have destroyed Showtime Lakers and Bird's Celtics from the jump.

I will never get over that.

As long as we are dreaming, I'd draft Dream, trade Ralph to draft MJ, and keep Rodney as a Pippen substitute.

POR offered Drexler and their 2nd overall pick (Jordan) for Ralph. This draft had in addition to Dream and MJ - Charles Barkley, John Stockton, Kevin Willis, Sam Perkins, Otis Thorpe, Jerome Kersey, Michael Cage, and Houston's own Michael Young.

But a core of Ralph, Clyde and Akeem would have beat the Celtics in 1986 Finals.

A core of Dream, MJ, Glide and McCray would have too.

Either core would have formed a dynasty for the Rockets in 80's AND 90's I am certain.

    I love Ralph Sampson
He should have sat out the season he injured his hip
But it was the 80s so they made him play til he broke

    always respect Ralph
