Has there been any studies that show if a certain percent of the population has an effect on effectiveness of social distancing? Spain for instance has 5% infected. Is that helping the effectiveness of their social distancing/lockdown measures?
Ugh....I've been told by doctors that, at best, I might have some resistance to the virus (after having had it) for 3-6 months...but that they weren't really sure about that even. This is really bad news. I took my wife to the urgent care on 7/4 because she was experiencing shortness of breath...that's well after her symptoms had gone away. Fortunately, her oxygen levels have been good throughout, but it's scary to feel like your breathing is diminished. They found evidence of where the virus had attacked her lungs. She's diagnosed with "mild COVID pneumonia" which they believe will be gone in about a week. Not contagious, but still something unexpected and well after when she thought she was well. The constant binary discussion of either death or recovered is ridiculous. There's a whole host of stuff in between that you don't want.

Very frustrating that so much focus is on deaths and asymptomatic cases -- there is a significant percentage of people with 'moderate' cases that should be receiving much more attention.

Herd immunity through infection isnt possible. Herd immunity through vaccines IS. Basically what everyone in the world had already believed since March except for Sweden. F their CDC , mass murderers the lot of them. Hope they spend the rest of their lives in a small dark cell. Even if you wont be immune ..you arent a virgin anymore. The next time you get infected it will be much milder.
