Actually Pedestrians always have the right away even when they aren't obeying the laws of crosswalks, etc.
They aren't pedestrians when they're jumping on your car, smashing your back window, and provoking you with slurs filled with hatred, impeding your ability to see out of your windshield. When you play that card you undermine the purpose of BLM - and make it about chaos, hate and just wanting to see the world burn. The dash cam window vindicates the police, no other country in the world would allow people to get away with anything close to the aggressive actions we've seen protestors do during these protests. If you cared about black lives youd spend more time preaching common sense which you feel you are above.
This specific incident was clearly provoked and the driver acted for his own safety after a mob surrounded his car. it's dangerous to stop in a mob of angry people. in general it's not a good idea to walk on the roadway
