    ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Hawks signed center Jason Collier for the rest of the season Sunday after he completed two 10-day contracts.

    A 7-footer who played at Georgia Tech, Collier is averaging 12.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in eight starts with the Hawks.

    not really a surprise he has started every game IIRC. he has played ok. but no los for us.

    He would be a perfect backup for Ming...just run the high pick and roll all the time.

    Should have never let him go.

    Better than Cato in some aspects. I think The rotation of
    Cato, Mo T, Collier and Yao would have been a nice front court

    nice and long
    Three have jump shots . .. Collier and Cato seem to move
    well/best without the ball. . . . Collier is better catching the ball
    in traffic.

    Would be younger than the Spoon oak Experiment
