What does someone have to do to get a trade done around here!? Damn. I have a surplus of OF's so the guys I'll probably be offering the most are these guys. I feel I should say a little something about them since their numbers from last year don't indicate the greatest achievements. Jermaine Dye: Jermaine Dye, Oak -- Dye drove in more than 100 runs in each of the three seasons from '99 to '01. But injuries have limited him to just a total of 106 RBI in the past two seasons combined. This spring, Dye is finally healthy again and getting good reviews from the A's coaching staff. Penciled in as the cleanup hitter on a team where OBP is king, Dye is in line to easily land another 100-RBI season. Jeromy Burnitz: He's in COL now and he was in a pitchers park last year. Just look what happened to Preston Wilson for example. Melvin Mora: He was having a breakout season last year and his numbers only look so bad because he only played about half the season. He's got a good shot at 20/20 and look who he's batting ahead of now, Tejada and Lopez...On second thought I might wanna keep him, but I'll trade him for an IF like him if you need an OF. Milton Bradley: Just like Mora. Rondell White: Solid player - 22/87/.289
I vote to continue to have trade veto power...I doubt any legit trades will ever get vetoed...I'd be nice to have the option available though in case somebody gives up on their team halfway through the season and has a fire-sale.

Sorry about the draft. We've been having major connection issues over the last few days. Aparently they just upgraded their network, and something is going haywire...
Here's the team fade drafted for me... C: Paul Lo Duca 1B: Mike Sweeney 2B: Jose Vidro 3B: Eric Hinske SS: Derek Jeter OF: Lance Berkman OF: Bobby Abreu OF: Johnny Damon Util: Hideki Matsui Util: Bernie Williams Util: JD Drew In: John Olerud In: Ray Durham Bench: Pat Burrell, Joe Crede SP: Pedro Martinez SP: Randy Johnson RP: Eric Gagne RP: Jason Isringhausen P: Barry Zito P: Freddy Garcia P: CC Sabathia Bench: Danny Graves, D. Kolb, Francisco Cordero I dropped Graves and picked up B.Sheets.Pretty good overall team in my opinion..
Hey Fatman, I proposed a trade for you. Might help you out and help me out if you're up for it. If not, we can work something out....
I made a counter offer... Berroa and Cintron (IIRC...it coulda been Aurilia, if it was Aurilia and you want Cintron let me know) for Lee. Gives you the infield help, Berroa is a good player for our league, lots of average and speed. Cintron has eligibility at SS and 3B. Let me know what you think.
I counteroffered, if your interested. Berroa and Mulder for Derek Lee. I rather keep Lugo than Cintron. Derek Lee is gotta be worth a lot more than Berroa and Cintron.
Well I was trying to test the market for Jeter. But since you ask,I do have interest in Sexson. What SP's are you interest in.I'm willing to do both.
Well we are underway and I've got a 4-0 lead on los beisbolitas. Maybe we should start a trash talking thread.
Well....I've got way way way too much time on my hands, so I'm going to write an outlook for my season. C J. López (Bal - C) 1B R. Ibañez (Sea - 1B,LF) 2B A. Soriano (Tex - 2B) 3B A. Schmidt is a slight question mark because of his health - out some of April. Sleepers: Patterson, Feliz and Redding. Patterson had a great year last year until he got injured. Should be good this year. Feliz is possibly batting 3rd for the Giants in front of Bonds, so he will get tons of at bats. Also, Alfonzo is injured so he will get more playing time. Redding had the best ERA on the Astros last year, but didn't get run support. If he gets run support this year, he should be a 15 game winner. Offense - B (some speed, some power...good balance) Pitching - A- (assuming Schmidt holds up and Dotel flourishes as a closer) Prediction: 1st BABY...I'll beat all of yall's asses
