Macintosh Help Needed!

I'm at work on a Mac G5. I tried to force quit when it hung up on copying a file. Now when I start my machine all the display colors revert to 256 colors. Afrer I change that to millions, the colors are still all reversed out and I can't figure out how to fix that. Why is it changing to 256 colors on a restart?

Help!

Try reinstalling the video driver.
