Trump is the status quo.... All he did was lower taxes..... bunch of deregulatuon..... and blew up the debt (pre-Covid) which is the same playbook used by Reagan and Bush Jr (Bush Sr I can respect as he actually raised taxes because he thought he was the right thing to do at the time).

Fair. I just don't agree as strongly about Biden doing nothing or push forward. I think Biden is more like Bush Jr, an empty suit moderate (albeit a liberal moderate) who can be pushed to be progressive in some areas and moderate in others. Just a gut feeling, Biden's big proposal will be a semi progressive Green New Deal that will also serve as a chunk of Biden's China response. The medium proposal is something on healthcare in between ACA and a Bernie type universal healthcare (public option?).

 

The party is ready to push forward, so maybe Biden will get pushed along with it.
