Their is a guy on the AND1 team, his nickname is "Escalade" and his name is Troy Jackson. He is said to be Mark Jacksons 350 lb. BIG brother.
Check him out on ESPN2s Street Ball.

Not positive, but I'd guess Marc Jackson. (From NYC, right?)

Escalade's got game, but his stamina is worse than Yao's.

I'm looking for JVG to sign Main Event and 1/2 Man 1/2 Amazing in the offseason, though I'll be rooting for "The Professor." ;)

Escalade is the brother of former Knick and current Rocket Mark Jackson.

From the looks of those 2, it's possible.

Also I wonder who would win 1-1, Marc Jacson or "Escalade"?:p

The sad thing about it, Escalade seems like he's actually fast than Marc.

    Wow...

A week or two back I posted a thread about an incident at Chili's where we sort of ran into Mark Jackson. We saw another dude there with him at the time (as well as a lady) who my friend thought was Escalade from And1. At the time he was ridiculed because we had no idea why they would be hanging out. Now I guess it makes sense.

I see why Duke graduate Jay Williams wanted to be referred to as Jay instead of Jason. There would be so much confusion between him, Memphis' Jason Williams and The State of New Jersey vs. Jayson Williams.

Now, I know there is a Marc Jackson in the NBA, but why do people refer to the former Knick and current Rocket as Marc Jackson. Is Marc the preferred spelling? Is Marc the most common spelling for the name?

(sorry, this has bothered me everytime I have seen Marc spelled describing the Rockets' point guard)

Well hopefully this will clear the confusion. MarK Jackson is the backup PG of the rockets. MarC Jackson in a backup center with I believe the minnesota timberwolves. Anyone that spells the rockets's MJ with a "C" is spelling it wrong. In general most people with the name Mark will spell it with a "K", but the people who have the full name Marcus would spell it with a "C"

BTW I think Jay Williams actually changed his name because the space-time continuum can only handle one player with the name jason william in the nba. When Jason williams entered the league, Jayson williams got sidelined with his chronic knee injuries. Coincidence? I think not. Of course with Jay's motorcycle accident, maybe the limit is affecting not just Jason, but J. Williams. :(

Better look out Jerome, you may be next.

I met Escalade when they came through town last. I was the on site facilitator for the And1 group at their hotel. He was a very, very nice guy. And yes, he is the brother of Mark Jackson.

And this is how it was supposed to read....
I blame the OP for my spelling. He spelled it Marc at first, and I followed like the lemming I am. ;)
"On-site facilitator".... and the imaginations run wild. :p
