That "other" CF.Net FSBL

I designate this thread as the main thread for that "other" CF.Net baseball league.

You know, the league with Agent27, chrisjent, l3uddhab0y, Rockets-#1, DarkHorse, fatman510, nWo34Life, right1, PhiSlammaJamma, and Iron McFirst.

How many of yall were actually there for the draft? I know at least 5 of us were.

Anyways, I really wanna trade right now, and yall aren't helping me out much with the non-responses.

--I'm trading Dotel for a starter who also has relief elgibility.
--I'm trading my OF's for IF's either straight up or I'll give you 2 for 1. Also will trade OF's for SP's. Talk to me on AIM or email, or here is good too.

The way I see it, you really only need one, maybe two 2B and 3B. So what if the guy has an off day and your team loses one spot for the whole week. I'm not sayin don't trade for one, you could use another 3B, but you have sooo many 1B and only 2 extra OF. I don't think it'd hurt you to take on 1 more OF because you have so many more IF compared to OF.

 

Dotel for Escobar straight up isn't exactly fair to me 'cause I consider Dotel to be getting 40 saves this year. I've also been trying to work out a trade with you that gives you an OF. I want Huff, Patterson, or Berroa (but Angel is kind of a seperate trade). You don't really need 2 SS's and Aurilia is serviceable, so please don't say right away. If you want an OF, I'm offering White, Burnitz (who's in CO now so will least get 30 HR's), Dye (the 4th batter at OAK and is FINALLY healthy, will probably get 100RBI, and Mora (who had ncie numbers for the fewer amount of games he played).

That's exactly what I meant. I'm talking to the 3 of you who have them on your teams. I'll check out your roster and see if there's anyone else we can add to make it an even 2for2.

Yeah I'm offering you lots of trades right now. It helps if you check it through your email because I'm sending you notes along with the proposals which explain my thinking.

I don't/want need either of those two.

 

Ha that's funny because the guys on your team I want most are Berroa, Soriano, and Huff. A 1B, I could go elsewhere for, but my priority is a IF who can steal and has some nice power (like 20/20). I'll keep workin' on it.

 

It seems like you guys check this board more then the one on our page, so here's a re-post of my last post on there.

Do yall want to be able to have trades vetoed? To prevent people from giving away players or doing trades which they don't realize are foolish, Yahoo gives you the option of being able to review a trade. Either it can be set to off, reviewed by the commissioner, or reviewed by the league. If we use the last option then we can pick from 1 day up to 6 days. Everytime a trade is accepted we would have to wait for the specified amount of days and if less than the majority overides it by that time, then it would go through. Right now it's set to league approval and 2 days - we can get rid of it if yall want though.

I agree, maybe I'll wait for a few other's opinions first before doing something about it. If it gets to be too long though, I'll just go ahead and take care of it.
