I can't read it either obviously. But, I'm guessing it pertains to a report that one of the demands supposedly coming out of CHAZ is that separate medical facilities are created: one for white patients and one for black patients (staffed by black doctors and nurses). No idea whether this is bullshit or who issued this (and if they are even actually affiliated with the folks involved with the CHAZ.) But, based on the conversation, I think that is what is displayed.
Of course they should be arrested. The individuals in some of the statues like Jefferson Davis should be taken down, it’s like having Jews stand idle while erecting statues of Adolf. That being said it should be done the proper way not through destruction of propert like this
I am both in favor of fining them for vandalism if they are caught, and I'm also okay with them destroying the statues. Though my preference would be for them to be removed and taken to museums.
Whats stupid about destroying the statue in St Paul is that I'm 99% sure the City Council would have quickly voted to remove it if they had been asked to. St Paul is really liberal and the Twin Cities has a reasonably large Native American community. That was just stupid for those people to take it into their own hands like that. They should be arrested and the city should vote to remove the statue.
Problem is you cant just tear down all statues. At is core I dont think much of anyone is pro destruction ..and this is a construct of the repug mind trying to convince themselves of the fabricated factions - boogey man !
The Columbus statue is on state grounds so to remove it would require the state of MN. The removal of the statue has come up for debate before in the Legislature and not gotten very far. Right now though Republicans and even some Democrats in the Legislature are very upset about it being toppled. LT. Gov. Peggy Flanagan who is Native American, said she is for the removal of the statue but didn't agree with how it was done.
On a related note. There has been a controversy in Minneapolis the last few years with the renaming one of the main lakes in the city from Lake Calhoun to Bde Mke Ska. The lake was originally named after John C. Calhoun the pro-Slavery former VP and Senator from SC. It was named after him even though he never actually saw it but for his help in getting funding for Fort Snelling in MN. Bde Mke Ska is the Ojibwe name for the lake. There's been a lot of confusion as there are streets around it along with businesses still called "Calhoun" after the lake and there had been a lawsuit to prevent the city from renaming it.
The chauvin police attack was reminiscent of Kevin Garnett versus Christian lettner practice battle that people have always wanted!
LMAO of course they’re going to blame it all on a Latino and his Muslim GF in addition to Antifa. not saying he shouldn’t be arrested and tried. But it’s going to be an incredibly convenient narrative that these two were the masterminds.
Why do we have statues of Columbus everywhere when he never even set foot on US soil (besides maybe Puerto Rico) in the first place? May as well have status of Leif Erikson everywhere... Hell, it'd make more sense, and he was probably a better person.
I don't think these guys were the masterminds but there is video evidence of them. I've noticed the other people caught for arson have been white. I don't know if this is deliberate on the part of MN LE as to not inflame things more. I know from first hand experience there were people of all races involved in the looting and destruction.
