I couldn't agree with this statement more. This is so much more important than what happens to the Rockets this year.
Damn, adding insult to injury!? 610 said that it would be Matt Bullard, but that was older info..........
He has to post a bond of 90K and 610 say the allegations took place from 1988 to 1991. So why is this just surfacing now? Maybe it just took the "kids" that long to come forward. Rusty Hardin is one of the best defense lawyers in the business. He is very high profile and very expensive.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO First we lose Rudy late in the season.....and now Calvin!! Gosh, I hope he is inocent. Otherwise.....I will lose all respect for the guy. NOT COOP!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Houston Rockets star Calvin Murphy was charged with.....
first i find out my ex orthodontist is a child predator. Now Calvin Murphy is getting charged with 5 counts of indecency with a child. Say it aint so Calvin!
Not that it makes any difference but -- isn't 1988 to 1991 well past the statute of limitations? I have few enough heroes. I hope another hasn't fallen.
This has to be false! What's up with liars making false accusations to NBA stars? Maybe this might attract Kobe so he could join the Rockets!!!
This news does suck....But for all you people who are crying over Calvin not doing the games, shut it. "IF" these allegations are true, the only thing we should be crying over is those kids, not Calvin's sorry ass. I'm not passing judgement, but these allegations involve multiple children. It doesn't look good for Murph right now. Just wait to pass judgement on these charges people, after all it is Calvin's kids who are making them. Please no more Calvin is a saint posts.
No Matter the verdict, the charges alone are enough to add another blemish on his career. I love Calvin and his chemistry with Worrell. 5 counts is pretty high and their must be some probable cause to be charged in the first place. If it goes into a long trial, no matter what Calvin might be done for, let us pray it gets dismissed and charges dropped shortly, else Calvin won't broadcast as long as he has the allegations, and gone if of course guilty. For his sake, his family's sake, and the rockets community the charges will be dropped and we will go back to only being critical of his fashion. JPG in Austin
Based on the statute listed below. A charge of sexual assult of a child can be as late as 10 years after the childs 18th birthday. This is a sad situation but let's not all rush to judgement until more details come out or the case goes to trial. Calvin has done a lot of good things and he deserves the benifit of the doubt right now.
