I say it's more Back To The Future 2 which writers have said that our favorite president was the inspiration for president Biff Tannen, though Biff knew how to run Casinos so it's not all accurate. are Robocop and Harley really in Mortal Kombat? I haven't played since MK3. Pretty cool concept.
@Xerobull The later mortal kombat games are much better than the later street fighter games I like the idea of incorporating other franchises characters and the graphics are much cooler new street fighter characters are dumb and the Popeye art style is bad , they lost the true spirit of the originals with adding too many moves to make the game slow as dog
Since Mortal Kombat 9, there’s been lots of guest characters. Freddy Krueger, Kratos, Leatherface, Michael Meyers, Jason, alien and predator, Arnold Terminator, RoboCop, and Joker off the top of my head. Harley Quinn is just a skin for Johnny Cage’s daughter though.
I've been pro street fighter for awhile, but it's gone downhill. the last one that I like SFA2 Alpha Counter should have been it for the sucky newbs who can't handle people throw moves it's the sorry players who made the game worse. i mean it's so easy to predict when someone is trying to throw you.

Hey @tinman - agree with you on anything past SFA2. Something changed with sf3 on that spoiled the game for me. There’s always Mugen, though. As for MK I loved 1 and 2 but haven’t really followed the series closely since. I do like how they throw licenses characters in there. Speaking of licensed characters I read that KoF Allstar has WWE characters now.
Mortal kombat has fixed their fighting system so it’s more fluid like street fighter use to be Not a million ISMs and has definitely changed their graphics to look next generation Street fighter five doesn’t look much different than 4 . They ran out of ideas and started making generic characters This is why mortal kombat is smart They added terminator , alien , predator etc and integrated their stories into mortal kombat There’s an excitement to play new characters Not like street fighter where you just play ken, ryu, chin li and guile or their clones mortal kombat actually made a bonkers story mode where you play as a bunch of characters depending on which part of the plot it is As far as fun factor it’s clearly better. You can also play as the joker
