DUNEDIN, Fla. - Houston Astros (news) shortstop Adam Everett was hit in the face by a pitch from Toronto's Miguel Batista on Saturday. Everett was motionless on the ground for more than a minute, but he got up and walked off the field under his own power with help from a trainer. He left the game with a bruise on his upper left lip and nose, and is day to day. Batista hit David Bell in the head Thursday. He hit another in the hip and was eventually tossed for coming up and in with another hitter.
