What does the article say HRC’s lead was in October 2016? (Hint: it’s more than +11.) 3.5 MOE for that one, and 3.6 MOE for this June poll. So remind me again why you don’t think this poll is worthless but rather is indicative that it’s “not even a contest”? I hope Team Biden doesn’t share your hubris.
I don't know what the article said, I know in most polling averages it was well below double digits for most of the campaign, even though it fluctuated with each new Trump scandal was absorbed and then ignored. You say national tallies are worthless, I say they're not. Because they're not for the reasons stated. A small national victory is tricky. A moderate to large one is not. Anyway, trying to convince the "it's 2016 all over again" people is not very fruitful, they are hellbent on it. If it gets them to the polls fine, but I can say its also 2008 all over again, or maybe 1932 and 36...or maybe it's better to just say it's 2020.
