Well, you could also make a case of... "This is why you don't allow offensive rebounds on an opposing team's free throw attempt." or "This is why you don't allow guys to be WIDE OPEN off a pick on an INBOUNDS PASS."

Dallas did so many things wrong on that final possesion, that fouling them was the only RIGHT thing they did.

In case you guys missed the game... Dallas is up three in OT, decides to make it a FT shooting game, with Miami out of timeouts... fouls Odom with 4.1 seconds left. He makes the first one, misses the second one (not intentionally... the shot went in and out), but none of the Dallas players even tried to get the rebound, and the ball bounced off Antoine Walker's back side (great position for a rebound toine... ), and out of bounds to the Heat. Inbounds play... Brian Grant sets a mammoth screen on whoever was guarding Rafer Alston, Shawn "I'm actually slower than I look" Bradley fails to close out on the open man, and Alston sinks a WIDE OPEN three to put Miami up 1 with .5 seconds left.

I know the strategy backfired tonight, but I've seen PLENTY of games where a team makes a last second three to tie it up... but I've NEVER seen what happened tonight.

    I'm still happy though...

Unbelieveable ending though! What luck. Odom misses the FT and it goes out of bounds off Dallas!?! Then Alston hits a running 3pt over Bradley for the win!?! Unbelieveable win for Miami. What a fun game to watch. Miami is a pretty nice team, very entertaining. What a monster game for Odom, 25pts and 18rbs!

This team just needs a serviceable center and a few more bench role players and they can compete seriously in the East. They have a serious chance at grabbing the #4 seed in the East with the Bucks fading and with the Hornets in trouble with Mash and Baron out.

is it just me, or is rafer actually turning into a legit NBA player. He seems to have shed the streetball mentality and bought into the team concept.

    Good for him.

If he can do it, so can Stevie! *crosses fingers hopefully*

A Cato for Caron and a pick trade doesn't sound that bad now (assuming a serviceable backup C can be had for less money...

Mark Cuban must be really fed up with Antoine.
