You know, it's the natural evolution of humanity that the borders are eventually opened and we all live and share resources. I just don't know that we are really there yet, when you have other countries openly declaring us their enemy. It takes everyone's participation to make that happen. I don't really care about a wall. It's symbolic, not practical. It's wasted time and energy, IMO. The repubs are more scared of immigration changing the voting demographic. That's is their real fear. Ann Coulter is relentless about this. But, humanity has to eventually evolve.
I was gonna create a thread, but watching and listening to Gov Cuomo ...I had a couple thoughts,..1 . He reminds of of Al Pacino the way he sounds so that’s cool. 2. My goodness, he seems to have it so much more than Biden. No offense to the Democrat supporters but Biden whenever he talks more than a couple minutes looks very bad, from calling a 20 year old female liberal college student a lying dog face pony soldier to looking like max headroom with his CSI sunglasses on a goofy virtual failed attempt, to rambling about the “you know the war production board” ...how can anyone feel Biden is fit to lead compared to other choices that seem better?
Agreed Biden has an optics issue as an old man trying to be young. Bernie Sanders embraces his age and himself in general. Its authentic because it is, not because he is trying to look authentic. On topic Susan Rice is very comfortable with herself. She is authentic
I've been watching Herbert Hoover's great granddaughter Margaret Hoover on Firing Line from day 1 of her reviving the show. She is very attractive. I know that Rice's appeal but I like her too.
I like Susan Rice just fine, though I haven't seen anything with her for quite a while. But, she'd have some work to do to raise her profile, and to get past the tarmac episode that we'd get beaten over the head with every day. Trump will say she was in on the Obamagate conspiracy. So I think Biden is safest picking one of his adversaries from the primaries. But, whomever; so long as the person is a credible leader.
no one is baggage free ... I said that not because she is or isn’t but it doesn’t matter so much. Whoever is chosen will have full of amazing and great new baggage made up. It will be great. For that reason, I think someone that can defend and fight back the bs is more important. I personally like Warren. I don’t know too much about Rice.
