Josh Smith's lefty three didn't have much rotation.

Josh Smith's threes were luck, and it definitely wasn't something McHale could count on nor city of Houston.

The hack a Howard schemes of Golden State simply flattened the rockets momentum especially since Brewer didn't offer much counter punch from the bench.

Keeping James benched was his best coaching decision of all time for McHale.

Solidified Rocket history with that comeback.
And made sure we got a better coach next season when he got pushed out.

This game tarnished James gardens legacy forever. Also the reason I keep him out of my “Bernard’s top five”. For now

That was a weird game. Josh Smith and Corey Brewer out of all people went inferno while the Clippers literally could not throw a rock in the ocean. It was a gutsy move by McHale to bench Harden but there's a lot of luck involved.

I sure do not miss McHale though. Looking back at his days it was just ugly basketball with no spacing and ball movement. Never understood why we hired him.

Even as Josh Smith praised McHale, he also said "He wasn't really an Xs and Os guy."

I find Dantoni's system even uglier.

Neither is Dantoni. He's a "let's spam as many threes as possible" guy and do it through excessive contested step back iso jumpers.

I believe harden got triple double in game 5. It might hav been game 7, but harden did get a triple double in that 2015 clips series, for sure!
Yeah that McHale offense had alot of downhill drives and pin down screens. Brewer took advantage, yet Terry lacked athletism at times.

Easily one of Rockets best playoff moments.

Rockets were dominating game 1 then Dwight hurt his knee. He clearly wasn’t the same player after that and just gutted it out the rest of the series.

    Because you are a moron.

Every team in the NBA has adopted something of D'Antoni's principles regarding pace and space.

NBA is now guard centric league and has never been more popular.
