Sort of like calling something “the greatest political crime in history” to distract everyone from your incompetence as President. Oh, and it has the added benefit of trying to smear your current political rival since the whole Ukraine thing fell through. But go ahead, share with us your problems with the video and how it is so “agenda” driven while also blindly accepting the current right-wing, apparently agenda-free narrative associated with so called Obamagate .
Obama sucks for ramping up drone strikes. I've posted it before. But it's hilarious that you call out Dems for not realizing it, all the while apparently not realizing The Donald ramped up and lapped Obama in the drone strike category, completely eclipsing his numbers and it was so huge he forced an end to official reporting of the numbers. The fact is, i guess, you are correct, Donald Trump doesn't kill brown children like Obama. Donald Trump is tries so much harder and is so much better at it than Obama ever was.
What is this post related to in the thread? Is "Obamagate" about drone strikes, or are you just randomly criticizing Obama for something lots of liberals criticized him for consistently? Just trying to figure out the point other than maybe (?) defending Trump via "bla bla bla." I mean, that's about the most coherent defense of 45 any reasonable person could make at this point -- I'll give you that. (Joined NBA message board in late Feb of election year. Interesting.)
I see the polling but I also can’t help but be alarmed by the anecdotes I see on the ground in the suburbs that are basically the new swing voters that delivered the House to Dems in 2018, and everything Im hearing tells me that it’s unfortunately the messaging breaks through and gets repeated. I think the Biden camp has to be really aggressive in messaging to get back out in front of how the rights propaganda network is feeding on the economic anxiety coming from Covid that they are using to foment anger that could drive people back to Trump who they’ll see as someone who wants to just open back up the economy. Biden needs to make it clear that he’s the better choice for the economy, and highlight how terrible Trump really has been.
you see more of what you look out for I see double down for support of the dear leader, I see new support (but frankly, it might have always been there but not expressed until this crisis partly because it highlight the stark differences between the two sides and people do have time to talk to each other mores and willing to push through the boundary of no politics that was once there). I don’t know what the Biden campaign has been doing but yea, they need to fight back the lies and push their own narrative.
This is where I think the Lincoln Project can really play a constructive role. Their ads are very hard hitting and really show how bad things are in a way that I don't think the Democrats can and Biden probably shouldn't. Biden rather than pointing out the weaknesses of Trump I think needs to focus on his strengths and what he will do.
All Obama did was advise Trump not to hire Flynn. And that was ages before the phone call. It was due to Flynn's time as Director of Defence Intelligence Agency under Obama, when Obama thought he did an awful job and he wasn't renewed after his 2 year term. Apparently Colleagues were concerned with Flynn's chaotic management style and increasingly hard-edged views about counterterrorism, and his superiors viewed him as insubordinate, according to Pentagon officials. Also Trump was the one who fired Flynn after hiring him. After Flynn admitted to lying about his phone call with Russian ambassador to Vice President Pence. The phone call In 2016 Russia interfered in the USA elections. So Obama administration put sanctions on Russia and were spying on the Russian ambassador. A phone call between the Russian ambassador and an American was heard. Where the American says don't worry about the sanctions because when Trump gets in, he will remove the sanctions. (Russia didn't react to the sanctions). This is considered undermining the current American government. An investigation was done to find out who that person was. It was Flynn.
in the middle of an pandemic, > 81K dead, no vaccine in sight, Trump and his allies no longer want to talks about it. so they've concocted this shiny object to change the narrative Team Biden, needs to hit Trump where it hurts, talk about Trump's slow response, his incompetence in dealing w testing, etc. Obama is doing his part
I honestly don't understand what the Trump administration is claiming Obama did? I'm not totally sure Trump does either. He has just seems to shout obamagate and hopes everyone else makes it up and adds their own spin on it. Without actually looking up what happened.
FBI didn't force him to lie. He did that all on his own. He failed to register as an agent of a foreign government and lied about it.
I honestly can't think of a dumber strategy than Trump doubling down on Obama conspiracies. It gets people thinking about the temperament and credibility of Obama vs. Trump, and the election starts looking like a referendum on the two candidates. Obama trounced the GOP contenders in '12 and '16. Trump is better served attacking Obama (the person) as little as possible, and focusing more on policy differences between "the previous administration" and his own. Of course this is Donald J. Trump and nothing he says ever makes a lick of sense. I'm not entirely convinced, given his entertainment background, that Trump hasn't been hired to imitate the worst possible leader imaginable. He's ridiculously bad at what he does.
"What's our goal? Truth/Admission or to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired?" reads the note, written by the FBI's then-director of counterintelligence. "If we get him to admit to breaking the Logan Act, give facts to DOJ & have them decide. Or, if he initially lies, then we present him [redacted] & he admits it, document for DOJ, & let them decide how to address it." That's the note. Maybe read it? Literally writes out what will happen depending on what Flynn does.
