    KFOR) — A viral video shows a delivery driver being held against his will in an Oklahoma City area neighborhood Monday, blocked in by a man who identified himself as the homeowners association president.

    Travis Miller, a home appliance and furniture delivery driver, captured the encounter on Facebook Live while driving through the neighborhood of Ashford Hills.

    “I want to know where you’re going,” says the resident whose car is blocking Miller’s way.

    “It’s none of your business. I’m going out, that’s where I’m going,” Miller replies.

    “Got me blocked in so I can’t leave,” Miller says to the camera, showing the man’s white Subaru blocking the road out of the gated community.

    “My name is David Stewart,” the man blocking him says, adding that he is the homeowners association president.

    “I don’t care what your name is, move out the way,” Miller says.

    About thirty minutes in, another homeowner joins Stewart.

    “All we want to know is why you’re in here and who gave you the gate code. That’s all we need to know,” the man says.

    Miller told sister station KFOR he did not want to share his customer’s personal information.

    While he waited for Stewart to move his car, Miller said Stewart told him he was calling the police. Officers never showed up, and, about an hour later, Stewart moved his car.

    “They must have contacted the customer because the customer came around and (Stewart) moved out the way,” Miller said.

    Miller is seen on the video with tears streaming down his face calling the police himself.

    “He said that he called the cops back and let them know that everything was clear but I didn’t want to leave and have it seem like I was fleeing the scene or anything like that,” Miller said to dispatch.

    Miller spoke to KFOR over the phone on Wednesday.

    “I don’t know what prompted him to, or what has happened in that neighborhood, for him to respond the way he did,” Miller said.

    His Facebook clip quickly went viral.

    Miller, and many people who commented, felt it was racially motivated.

    Stewart did not respond to telephone calls or answer the door at his listed address.

    “I just know that emotionally, it was hard to maintain restraint, especially when I’m dealing with death in the family, two family members within two days of each other,” Miller said. “I just did the best I could to make sure I didn’t make a bad situation worse.”

    KFOR also tried to reach Stewart on Facebook but he never replied.




    SO
    If the Driver had shot and killed the HOA President . . . that would have been justified?

    The idea that a black person MUST answer to any and every random white guy is insane.
    It won't stop until . . . . when ?

    HOA are assholes to everyone bro... this is not special treatment.


    But no, we can't have a world where people are just assholes. It has to be because they are racist.

    This type of race baiting is irresponsible unless you can prove it is about race and not just some prick being a prick.

    Do you live in some magical world where racists, before doing something racist, say "Hey bro, just to be clear I'm only stopping you because you're black" all the time? How in the world can someone prove that it was/wasn't based on race short of the people that stopped the driver saying so? In your imaginary world it doesn't seem like we can ever infer racism in any situation unless it is specifically provable... which is ridiculous since racist acts do in fact happen.

    idiots just can’t mind their damn business...always trying to play hero

    next thing we know Miller goes to scratch his nose or reaches down to pick up something he dropped inside his own vehicle, and they will shoot him claiming they thought he was armed while playing the “big, scary black man” defense

    people need to keep a phone on them at all times and be ready to record, because they will lie about the situation and paint u in a bad light while having their story believed

    The best way to stop vigilantism is to just shoot anyone who tries to confront you. That will teach them a lesson not to try to infringe on people's freedoms.

    If it was an unmarked vehicle I could see them asking for the companies information just to verify things. I agree with the driver that he doesn’t have to provide the customers information.

    When a company sends an unmarked vehicle to my house I get their license plate just to be safe.

    I didn't say it wasn't. I just want proof that it was racially motivated. That's on yall people claiming it's racial to prove. I operate on just the facts before us. If one can't prove it, then they should be more careful of stoking racial tensions.

    One of these people who feel it is their right to detain folks is gonna get killed, there is no way I would have waited for an hour.

    Thats some patience bro, good on him to show that much restraint.
