here...go download this freeware tool and it will tell you what codec you need for any video http://www.kcsoftwares.com/index.php?vtb
ok you guys are added. Later tonight, the current videos in my briefcase may be gone. I am going to capture more videos of tonights game, and I might need to clear some space for them.
are you sure you want any videos of this game? maybe the Yao block on Bonzi but everything else is worth forgetting it ever happend. I am still trying to play the videos. I found out that most of your vids are MPEG2 files. For some reason my Windows Media Player will play MPEG1 files but not MPEG2 files. Anyone know where I can download something to enable my Windows Media Player to play MPEG2 files? Thanks again!
Your best bet would be to im R2K. He knows everything about this stuff. You sure you have the latest update for WMP? That's strange. I thought Mpeg2 was included with WMP. I have WMP 9.1 Do you have divx? I would recomend downloading the Divx software, it comes with other codecs packaged with it IIRC. No, no videos are going to be uploaded of tonights game.....guess I will keep the old ones up will Sunday's game.
Mpeg2(dvd) files need to have aspecial codec installed....unless you have dvd software installed...you wont have the mpeg2 codec. http://www.softpedia.com/public/cat/11/2/2/11-2-2-40.shtml this should be the link for the mpeg2 codec I love to cap to mpeg2 for personal use...but the file sizes are a little much for downloading...when I was doing highlight clips, I preferred to use mpeg1 since everyone onthe planet can play them withoutr special codecs. The quality was not as good obviously...but it is good enough for highlight clips..
Thanks Rockets2K! I can finally see the videos! I needed to download that codec but after that it is working. The quality of the videos is sort of grainy but they are still great. Would reather hear Bill and Calvin on the commentary instead of Coop but its all good. Thanks R2K and Uprising!
oops....just realized you were referring to Uprising's videos....:sheepish: he'll get better, he is still new at this.
