    You don't remember the classic scene where Al Pacino and Tom Berenger are forced to play Russian roulette in the Vietnam POW camp?

    Is not a real hip hop fan

    Most people who love the 80s hip hop like the 99ers
    @Rocket River
    watched it grow in the 90s'

    It's like saying I like 'AKEEM OLAJUWON' but I stopped watching cause he changed his named to 'HAKEEM'
    @heypartner

    And why is he on my thread?

    HATING.

    I mean if he had a thread about Tom Berenger, I would NEVER JOIN IT. I don't need to go there and be sucker.

    Hadn't forgot. One of the few albums you could listen to with no-skips.

    Honestly, I've never listened to it. After checking, saw in came out in April of 98. I had moved on from my hip-hop phase to alternative and adult contemporary rock. :D:D:D I quit asking for special orders of east coast rap cassette tapes at Gill's in Mo City and started buying CDs at Soundwaves in Montrose. Didn't start listening to hip-hop again, regularly anyway, until years later.

    Will check it out though since I have an overabundance of time (still in shelter-in-place).

    You have to admit that Tom Berenger as The Substitute was cool though. :D

    Major League? The Big Chill? Platoon?

    Sniper (with my good friend Billy Zane), "2 shots, 1 kill"?

    So in addition to an album, I guess there's a couple of movies to watch (Big Chill and Platoon though I'll likely hold off on the latter because I don't do well emotionally with war films). But yeah... of course Major League with Berenger playing the Battier role.

    "How's your wife and my kids?"

    It still is killing me that people don't know the movie Deer Hunter.
