94, was visiting NYC for the first time with friends from Houston, we watched some of the Series from bars but celebrated Game 7 in a hotel room. 95, was in Humble celebrating with friends and strangers and brooms
I was 7 with a white Olajuwon jersey and a lack of interest/awareness in what was going on, just knew that I liked Houston. Then I was 8 in the same situation.
Some of my best friends had built a contraption so they could hitch a large TV fairly high up into a tree. We watched on the tree TV while having a keg party on the front lawn. Those were the days.
After the game, three of my drunken friends went skinny dipping in the Mecom Fountain by Hermann Park. Some cops came around because they were making a lot of noise and made them get out and get dressed. They were about to arrest them when one of them said, "I'm sorry, we were just so excited about the Rockets winning the championship!" The cop said, "Yeah, us too. Y'all get out of here and don't do it again."
